The chairman of the business association called on people to protect the values

Malatya Entrepreneurial Business People (MAGİNDER) Association President Salih Karademir said, “We are the lovers and owners of Malatya. From now on, we will start to take more ownership of every value of our city. We invite the people of Malatya to take ownership of apricots, Yeni Malatyaspor and their city.”

Malatya Entrepreneurial Business People (MAGİNDER) Association President Salih Karademir made a statement about apricots, which are the locomotive of the city’s economy.

“We are the lovers and owners of Malatya”

Karademir, who emphasized that the transfer of apricots to the point they deserve is parallel to the steps that the city dynamics will take together, said, “The current situation of our apricots, which are the common value of Malatya, is heartbreaking. Our apricots cannot find the value they deserve. This year, they are wanted to be offered for sale at a low price by the producer. The fact that the Soil Products Office has implemented a base price application for figs, hazelnuts, pistachios and tea in Turkey, but has not announced a base price for our apricots and has not made any purchases, seriously affects our Malatya, our producer and our business world. We invite our local administrators, the opposition and the government to come together at a common table and sincerely ensure that apricots for Malatya reach the value they deserve. Today, our neighboring city Elazığ and the Baskil district have taken steps to embrace our apricots. We believe that Malatya was left without an owner after the February 6 earthquake and that even our apricots were sold by another city. We clearly see that they want to be owned. It should not be forgotten that this city is not ownerless. We are the lovers and owners of Malatya. From now on, we will start to own every value of our city more. We invite the people of Malatya to own their apricots, Yeni Malatyaspor and their city.”

“We call on all our dynamics to act together”

Drawing attention to the fact that apricots form the basis of the city’s economy, Karademir said, “We call on every NGO, opinion leader, politician and every Malatya resident in our city to be united for apricots and for Malatya. We believe that the people of Malatya will own their homeland and apricots no matter how big an earthquake this city has gone through. We want our MPs to get the necessary appointment from our President and urgently express and solve the problems related to our apricots. Malatya apricots are the future of Malatya. Malatya apricots are the basis of Malatya’s economy. No one can waste the sweat of our villagers. We will work together to get our city back on its feet. We said, ‘Malatya is ours, apricot is ours’. Every Malatya resident should not forget this. Hopefully, our state will take the necessary steps for our apricot. As always, we, as the MAGİNDER family, will share in every trouble and joy of Malatya,” he said. – MALATYA
