One of the 8 organizers detained in Van on the grounds of “migrant smuggling and human trafficking” has been arrested.
A statement from Van Police Department indicated that efforts to uncover the person(s) involved in “migrant smuggling and human trafficking” and to capture irregular migrants continue throughout the province. The statement said, “In operations conducted by our officers from the Migrant Smuggling and Border Gates Department; legal action was taken against 8 organizers and 1 organizer was arrested.” – VAN
