Hotel fined for discharging wastewater into sea
The Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change reported that a hotel in Didim Akbük Neighborhood, which was determined to discharge wastewater into the sea, was fined 1 million 161 thousand liras, and that efforts were initiated to file a criminal complaint with the Office of the Chief Public Prosecutor against the business officials.

In a statement made on the social media account of the ministry, it was reported that as a result of the work of the inspection teams affiliated with the Aydın Provincial Directorate of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, it was determined that the wastewater belonging to a hotel in Didim Akbük Neighborhood was discharged into the sea due to the overflow of the septic tank.

The statement included the following statements: “As a result of the inspection, the discharge line was cancelled and the business was fined 1 million 161 thousand lira. Initiatives have been initiated to file a criminal complaint with the Office of the Chief Public Prosecutor regarding the business officials.”
