The incident took place in the Tahtakale Neighborhood of the central Osmangazi district. According to the information obtained, an argument broke out between K.D. (62), who was a street vendor in a neighborhood market, and K.İ. over a ‘location issue’. The argument quickly turned into a fight, and K.İ. fired 2 shots at the person he was arguing with. One of the bullets hit the toe of K.D.’s shoe. It was determined that K.D. was not injured because he normally wore size 42 and had size 44 shoes on his feet.
The Security Branch Directorate Security Teams Bureau teams, who took action after the incident, caught the suspect K.İ. in the same neighborhood approximately 3 minutes later with the unlicensed gun he used in the incident.
