Congestion Occurred Due to Maintenance Work in Bolu Mountain Tunnel
Due to maintenance work in the Bolu Mountain Tunnel, there is congestion on the Mudurnu-Akyazı-Nallıhan highway, which is used as an alternative route. Gendarmerie teams have tightened their inspections on the highway where congestion has occurred.
Due to the 67-meter extension of the tunnel tubes in the Bolu Mountain Tunnel of the TEM Highway, travel to Istanbul has been closed for 50 days. Due to the closure of the road, drivers using the TEM Highway are being directed to the D-100 highway from the Abant toll booths. Drivers who do not want to get stuck in traffic are creating congestion on alternative routes. Gendarmerie teams have tightened their inspections on the highway that provides access to the Mudurnu-Akyazı-Nallıhan districts.
