Bridal car decorated with Palestinian flag in Elazığ
Upon the request of the couple who got married in Elazığ, a Palestinian flag was hung on the bridal car, and the vehicle was decorated with flowers and ribbons bearing the colors of the flag.
Zeynep Avcı (22) and Muhammed Nur Dalokay (25), who got married in the city, wanted to show their reaction to the human tragedy in Palestine and the assassination of Hamas Political Bureau Chairman Ismail Haniyeh in a different way.
Upon the request of the young couple, a Palestinian flag was hung on the bridal car, and flowers and ribbons bearing the colors of the flag were chosen for the decoration of the vehicle.
The words “Free Palestine from the River to the Sea” and “Greetings to Martyr Leader Ismail Haniyeh” were hung on the front and back of the bridal car.
The young couple toured the city in a wedding convoy formed by a bridal car decorated with the Palestinian flag, and then arrived at the wedding hall where the ceremony would be held.
A poster of Ismail Haniyeh was also hung at the entrance of the wedding hall.
Groom Muhammed Nur Dalokay, who attended the wedding wearing a scarf with a Palestinian flag and the words “We are all Palestinians” on it, told AA correspondent that they were experiencing one of their happiest days today, but they also continued to feel the pain of the oppressed Muslims who were massacred due to Israel’s attacks.
Stating that they would continue to react to Israel and support Palestine until the Palestinian people gained their freedom, Dalokay spoke as follows:
“We have to remember our Palestinian brothers and sisters every day, from our happiest day to our most painful day. We have to help our brothers and sisters there as much as we can. This is both our duty as Muslims and as humanity. In order not to forget our brothers and sisters there on this special day, we decided to decorate our wedding car with the Palestinian flag and colors. We do not forget our brothers and sisters there, they are always on our minds. May Allah grant them victory as soon as possible and make us a part of that victory, God willing.”
